I can't remember how one would go about adding figures to say, maintain a checkbook. I know that one can make coloms and rows, but I can't remember the commands to make microsoft add or subtract the coloms and or rows. If any of you wonderful people wouldn't mind writing step by step instructions, yours truely would appreciate it.

when you add columns and rows to a table it all stays under the table menu--alt plus a, where you can delete or insert rows and columns, set withds and lengths and such. If you wish to insert a picture its all under the insert menu. Menus in word and office are your best friends sometimes. Most tools bars also help: Whe you hit alt to open the menu bar, hit control tab and you are at a toolbar. Use tab to go back and forth thourhg the controls that the toolbar offers. Once you are through a toolbar you canmove on to the next one with control tab and so on.
